Overview

IDC US/IDC Canada is looking for an experienced Demand Generation Manager to join our product-led growth (PLG) team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive demand, generate leads, and accelerate customer acquisition. Your goal will be to optimize the customer acquisition funnel, from awareness to conversion, and contribute to the overall growth and success of PLG strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing demand generation strategies to drive qualified leads and revenue growth, leveraging a mix of inbound and outbound marketing tactics.
  • Developing SEO-friendly content, including blog posts, landing pages, and website copy, to enhance organic visibility and drive lead generation.
  • Creating and managing multi-channel marketing campaigns, including email marketing, content marketing, social media, and product-led demos and webinars.
  • Creating content for paid campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads and social media.
  • Supporting strategies for in-product messaging to nurture freemium users to upgrade to paid plans.
  • Leveraging user-generated content on owned and paid channels to build trust and credibility.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including sales, product, and customer success to develop integrated campaigns that resonate with our target audience.
  • Successfully executing campaigns in alignment with established KPIs and responsibility for the communication of results.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in demand generation with minimum of 3+ years in direct support of product-led growth initiatives.
  • Prior experience in marketing to technology audiences (CIOs, VP of IT) required.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and drive results through collaboration and teamwork.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven track record of delivering measurable results and driving continuous improvement through data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and extsernal partners, such as agencies and vendors, to achieve marketing objectives.
  • Strong passion for digital marketing and staying ahead of industry trends, with a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.

This role is located in our Toronto Office, with a hybrid work schedule or may work remote from Ontario, BC, Alberta or Nova Scotia.
