About the Role & Team
IDC is seeking a Research Operations Program Manager to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in helping the company deploy and scale new tools and processes. This role involves gathering user requirements, supporting pilot projects, assisting with new project deployments, providing ongoing user support, and contributing to change management and user enablement initiatives. The ideal candidate will be organized, a strong communicator, and passionate about making technology work effectively for a broad range of user personas.
This position is primarily remote; however, candidates must be located within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) to accommodate occasional in-person meetings at our Toronto office.
What You’ll Do
- Requirement Gathering & Analysis
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify internal user needs and functional requirements.
- Document and prioritize feedback to inform technology configuration, customization, and deployment.
- Experience working with or managing outside professional services suppliers is a plus.
- Pilot & Deployment Support
- Assist with planning, coordination, and tracking of pilot programs.
- Develop prototype environments to support proof of concept using tools available within the Process & Support Organization
- Monitor progress, gather feedback, and contribute to refining deployment. strategies.
- Support the successful rollout of tools across departments by engaging in configuration, testing, and deployment processes.
- End-User Support & Communication
- Serve as a key point of contact for internal users with questions about the execution of the market intelligence production process.
- Collaborate with the training and enablement group to develop and maintain user guides, FAQs, and training materials.
- Provide “how-to” support and conduct small-group or 1:1 training sessions.
- Change Management & Adoption
- Help execute change management plans to drive adoption.
- Champion ongoing usage and best practices across teams.
- Collaborate with business operations, IT, corporate communications, and training teams.
- Project Management & Knowledge Sharing
- Track project tasks, timelines, and risks.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and learning through workshops, office hours, and internal documentation.
- Ensure stakeholders are regularly informed of progress and next steps.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in Business, Communications, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in project coordination or program management.
- Proficiency with project management tools.
- Strong communication skills—written, oral, and presentation – and interpersonal skills to thrive in a highly collaborative environment spanning teams globally.
- Ability to distill technical content into clear, user-friendly guidance.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with proven ability to manage multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience supporting change management and training initiatives is a plus.
- Familiarity with software configuration, deployment, and support preferred.
- Professional fluency in English.

Compensation Transparency
At IDC, we are committed to fair and equitable pay practices. Employees are compensated equitably for their work, aligned with their skills and experience. Salary and incentive structures are determined through a rigorous process that considers experience, education, certifications, role-specific requirements, internal equity, and verified Canada market data from an independent third-party partner.
The expected total annual compensation, depending on location and experience, is between 90,000 CAD – 115,000 CAD, inclusive of base salary and variable compensation.
